Zoombak has announced that recent distribution gains make Zoombak Personal GPS Locators available to consumers at 10,000 retail locations nationwide.

This broad distribution has enabled Zoombak to establish the Personal GPS Locator category. With an affordable price point starting at $199 (plus a low monthly service fee), Zoombak was designed with the mass market consumer in mind. Never before has the power of locator technology been available to such a wide range of consumers.

Small enough to be placed in a car, backpack or briefcase and easily attached to a bicycle or dog's collar, Zoombak combines the coverage of cellular networks and the power of global positioning satellites to provide consumers with the most accurate, real-time location information available.

"Zoombak continues to set the pace in the Personal GPS Locator market by providing solutions that fit the needs of consumers and retailers alike," said Simon Buckingham, CEO of Zoombak.

"Distribution at 10,000 retail locations nationwide establishes Zoombak as the leader in the emerging Personal GPS Locator category. We are looking forward to providing more and more consumers with the daily peace-of-mind that comes with knowing the location of what matters most to them."

Zoombak gives consumers the ability to stay connected to everything important to them. Using Zoombak's interactive Web site and newly enhanced mapping capabilities, customers can set up custom safety zones around virtually any location including homes, parks, malls and schools.

When the device crosses one of the virtual boundaries, a text message or e-mail alert promptly notifies customers of the location of the device. Customers can also pinpoint their Zoombak's location at any time on-demand from both their mobile phone and zoombak.com.

Zoombak is the only Personal GPS Locator now available nationwide at leading consumer electronics, automotive and pet specialty retailers including RadioShack, Target, Pep Boys, PetSmart, Al and Ed's Autosound, Brookstone, Cabela's, Crutchfield, Hammacher Schlemmer, J and R Music World, Micro Center, Nebraska Furniture Mart (a Berkshire Hathaway company), Sports Chalet, Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, CircuitCity.com, and Walmart.com.
