VSE wins places on Army TACOM contracts

VSE Corporation reports it is eligible to compete for a variety of task orders issued by the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command.

The task orders would be in the areas of maintenance, repair and overhaul; equipment modification; equipment installation; research and development; engineering, and technical representative services to keep vehicles, machines, systems and other equipment functioning and in working order.

"VSE's legacy is built on providing superior MRO services to our federal customers and we are proud of our continued support to TACOM," said Federal Services Group President JR Brown. "Our top priority is keeping our customer's mission critical equipment at their peak operational readiness throughout its lifecycle."

Company eligibility comes through the receipt of two indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts. The first is a Strategic Services Solutions Equipment Related Services with 20 awardees. The contract is for eight years and carries a potential maximum value of $1.1 billion if all options are exercised.

The second IDIQ award, given to 19 companies, is a TACOM TS3 Research and Development contract, which has a maximum potential value of $634 million and an eight-year period of performance if all options are exercised.
