Sidus Space (NASDAQ: SIDU) has finalized an expanded preliminary agreement with Lonestar Data Holdings, extending a collaborative initiative now valued at around $120 million. This enhanced partnership charts the course for the development, deployment, and operational support of six lunar-based data storage satellites, pushing the boundaries of secure information retention infrastructure beyond Earth.

Utilizing the versatile LizzieSat platform, the lunar spacecraft will incorporate advanced technology to host secure, redundant data storage systems tailored for deep space environments. Under the terms of the agreement, Sidus will manage the end-to-end spacecraft lifecycle including engineering, payload integration, launch preparation, and post-deployment support in lunar orbit. The initiative affirms both firms' dedication to pioneering space-based technological solutions for critical infrastructure resilience.
