SPACE World At AIRTEC 2010

The increasing success of AIRTEC 2010: World meeting place for the Aerospace supply industry and the top supply chain management.

AIRTEC 2010, the International Aerospace Supply Fair, will take place from November 2nd to 4th at the Exhibition Center Frankfurt. Organizers report increasing participation in 2010 of top managers from supply chain and procurement from all over the world.

Compared to last year, AIRTEC has seen double the number of exhibitors and triple the exhibition space. With exhibitors and visitors from over 50 nations expected at 2010 AIRTEC - clearly showing that AIRTEC attracts a high percentage of international participants.

AIRTEC 2010 is a combination of trade exhibition, technical conferences and integrated B2B meetings and records a very high presence of OEMs, engine manufacturers and system suppliers with their supply chain management.

This strengthens AIRTEC 2010 as an independent supply fair for aerospace. At AIRTEC 2010 exhibitors meet with supply chain, procurement and program managers and project engineers at OEMs, as well as system suppliers from around the world.

At the fifth anniversary of AIRTEC exhibitors will be awarded with the AIRTEC Award in gold, silver and bronze for their special innovations and achievements in aerospace.

For the first time AIRTEC 2010 will present the SPACE World theme park.

With the slogan "From vision to commercial application" the SPACE World theme park will facilitate an innovative combination of an international conference and exhibition - with companies, institutions and universities that provide satellite systems, components, testing systems and electronic components taking part.

The SPACE World theme park will specifically promote the use of space technologies in other applications, such as automotive technology, agriculture, environment, civil protection and renewable energies.

Also planned is Planetec Pavilion for small and medium enterprises from Apulia. Wurzburg University and the International Space University / Illkrich will present as well as cesah GmbH "Centrum fur Satellite navigation Hessen".

Theme parks - AIRTEC 2010
The theme park "HELI World" takes place for the second time at the AIRTEC 2010. Invited as exhibitors are companies from throughout the helicopter industry: manufacturers, operators, suppliers, universities and institutions. In the theme park HELI World well known names such as Russian helicopters, one of the largest helicopter manufacturers, are represented, The Theme park UAV World (unmanned aerial vehicles) is taking place already for the fourth time.

Here will be suppliers such as Rockwell Collins and CAE Electronics, and electronics and sensor technology measures. UAS shows DLR in cooperation with MAVinci. Further more The National Aviation University of Ukraine will take part as an exhibitor, too.

International high class conference program
Chairman of the SPACE World conference, organized with the friendly assistance of ESA, is Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Klaus Schilling from the University Wurzburg. Dipl. Ing. Thomas Reiter, Member of the Executive Board of DLR in Cologne, Germany and former ESA Astronaut, Gaele Winters, ESA Director of Operations and Infrastructure and Head of the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany and Jean-Yves Le Gall, Arianespace Chairman and CEO from France will give a keynote as well as other leading representatives of the industry.

The 2nd international HELI World conference, November 3 - 4, shows a successful development and takes place in 2010 due to the slogan "HELICOPTER Technologies and Missions". The conference covers all aspects of the helicopter industry - from design and structures, communication and navigation to transport and forest fire fighting. Conference chairman is Prof. Dr.Ing. Stefan Levedag, director DLR institute for air systems, Braunschweig.

Also held as part of AIRTEC 2010 will be the 4th international UAV World conference, November 3 - 4, that takes place with the slogan "UAS Technologies and Missions", where current and future developments will be discussed by renowned experts from Germany and abroad. The UAV World conference covers all topics from design, engineering and sensor technologies to sense and avoid, communication and navigation.
