A Soyuz-U carrier rocket with the Progress M-10M cargo spacecraft has been transferred to a launch pad at the Baikonur Space Center in Kazakhstan in preparation for the April 27 launch, Russia's Federal Space Agency said on Monday.

"Following the approval by the state commission, the rocket has been transferred from an assembly hangar to a launch pad [at Baikonur]," Roscosmos said in a statement.

The Progress M-10M will deliver 2.5 tons of fuel and food supplies to the International Space Station (ISS).

The food supplies include 20 packages of marinated cucumbers, green apples, lemons and oranges, as well as unspecified fresh vegetables.

The freighter will also deliver "psychological support kits" from the cosmonauts' families, including candy.
