New Surge Protectors for PV Systems

Automation Systems Interconnect Inc is pleased to announce the release of their new line of overvoltage and lightning protection modules.

For both the AC and DC side of a solar PV network, ASI surge protectors the modules use either MOV or Gas Discharge Tube technology to provide the best possible protection to all components with the solar PV power system.

The ASI AC surge protection modules for solar PV installations are available for single phase 230Vac and 3 phase 230/400Vac circuits. DC surge protection modules are available with ratings of either 600Vdc or 1000Vdc. Modules are DIN rail mountable.

Solar Cable Connectors and Couplers
Automation Systems Interconnect Inc is pleased to announce the release of their new line of solar connectors and couplers.

The ASI APV4 series is compatible and intermateable with industry standard 4mm connectors. Cable to cable, panel and branch plug and receptacle connectors are available with a 1000Vdc rating per IEC and TUV.

The connectors feature snap lock mating for secure connections. The metal crimp pins are made of a tin-plated copper to offer low contact resistance and protection against corrosion
