Moscow (SPX) Mar 19, 2009 Concurrently with the exhibition "Communication-Expocom-2009," the main event in the field of navigation in Russia is to take place at the CEC Expocentre - an international congress-exhibition project "Navigation systems, technologies and services." The major goal of the project is informing the wide audience both in Russia and abroad of innovation technologies in the field of satellite navigation. Two important activities are to take place at the same time: the Third International Satellite Navigation Forum and the International Exhibition Navitech-Expo-2009. The world navigation equipment market is developing rapidly offering navigation services to an ever-growing number of users in the most diversified spectrum of activity spheres In May 2008 a wide-range and representative navigation equipment exposition was formed and successfully demonstrated at the "Communication-Expocom-2008" exhibition. In Russia emergency rescue services and transport companies, construction companies and enterprises of the oil and gas branch, logistics and power engineering are from year to year more and more actively introducing technologies based on the functioning of such global positioning systems as GPS and GLONASS. The work on integration of GLONASS with the global navigation systems GPS and GALILEO is in progress. The organizers are expecting from the "Navitech-Expo-2009" exhibition substantial growth of the amount of business contacts among content providers, telecommunication companies, and subscriber equipment and system applets developers. Thus, for example navigation can be successfully accompanied by all sorts of commercial and advertising information.
