Eyelit has announced that Innovalight, a developer of solar module products based on silicon ink, has selected Eyelit's Enterprise Manufacturing Execution Suite (MES).

The Eyelit solution will provide complete tracking of WIP, associated consumables, raw materials, inventory, experiments and tools, as well as complete product genealogy and process traceability. This infrastructure enables Innovalight to continue development and grow its business with a proven solar Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

"We reviewed several MES vendors and selected Eyelit because of their product flexibility, speed of implementation and low cost of entry. We wanted a solution that meets our development needs today and one that we will need as we move to production," said Tu Du, Vice President of Operations for Innovalight. "Eyelit's experience, knowledge and understanding of photovoltaic (PV) solar manufacturing were also a big plus," he added.

"Innovalight's selection of Eyelit, adds to the growing list of solar manufacturers using Eyelit's products to speed the delivery of solar products to market. Eyelit's solution enables solar start-ups to begin with a low-cost solution, yet provides the needed infrastructure to scale with Eyelit's broad set of functionality and copy-smart capability.

Many solar manufacturers are finding with the rapid growth in the solar market, they are quickly out growing smaller point or home-grown solutions. Many solar manufacturers are at a crossroad of further investment or the need to reinvest in new, scalable software for high volume production.

Eyelit will be displaying its solution next week with our partner SYSTEMA at the Semicon West-Intersolar conference. We will be located at booth 2522 in the South Hall. You'll also see solar companies presenting their use of Eyelit software at the upcoming Eyelit User Conference in August," stated Dan Estrada VP of Sales and Business Development.
