Jakarta (AFP) Nov 12, 2010 Indonesia's Mount Merapi volcano has killed 206 people since it began erupting late last month, with more than 380,000 people in makeshift camps, an official said Friday. "The death toll from Merapi has reached 206 people. And about 380,000 people have fled their homes," disaster management official Heriyanto told AFP, updating the previous official toll of 194. He said rescuers had been able to recover more bodies in the central Java area where the volcano is located.
