Exolaunch has announced a multi-mission agreement to provide launch and deployment services for HawkEye 360, marking their first partnership aimed at advancing space-based technology and geospatial intelligence capabilities. The initial launch, part of the agreement, occurred at Kennedy Space Center's Launch Complex 39A on April 7, utilizing SpaceX's Falcon 9 and Exolaunch's CarboNIX separation systems to deploy three HawkEye 360 satellites.

These satellites, developed by the University of Toronto's Space Flight Laboratory, aim to enhance maritime safety by expanding coverage over crucial maritime corridors in the Indo-Pacific region.

HawkEye 360, headquartered in Virginia, is a leading provider of maritime safety technology, offering detailed insights into global maritime activities through advanced radio frequency data and analytics. The collaboration leverages Exolaunch's robust deployment technologies to further expand HawkEye 360's operational capabilities in space.

The contract includes the integration and deployment of at least ten satellites for HawkEye 360, utilizing Exolaunch's CarboNIX separation systems and EXOpod Nova deployers, reflecting HawkEye 360's confidence in Exolaunch's deployment solutions.

Multiple missions for HawkEye 360 are planned through 2025, involving SpaceX Rideshare missions, aimed at bolstering HawkEye 360's geospatial intelligence services.

Rob Rainhart, president of HawkEye 360, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting its significance in enhancing launch efficiency and market delivery for their analytics solutions. Kier Fortier, managing director of Exolaunch USA, also highlighted the importance of this partnership in supporting HawkEye 360's ambitious launch schedule, emphasizing Exolaunch's commitment to reliable and effective mission management and deployment services.
