Elbit Systems Ltd. has secured a contract worth approximately $60 million to deliver its state-of-the-art multi-layered Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) to a NATO European country. The contract spans a period of three years.

Under this agreement, Elbit Systems will supply its ReDrone modular Counter-UAS solution. The ReDrone system integrates advanced DAiR radar, SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) sensors, EW (Electronic Warfare) countermeasures, and EO (Electro-Optical) day and night payloads. Together, these elements provide an enhanced aerial overview and sophisticated electronic attack capabilities.

The ReDrone system stands out for its modular, multi-sensor, and multi-mission architecture. It forms a core part of Elbit's extensive portfolio in EW, radars, and SIGINT technologies. With both active and passive sensor capabilities, the system enables rapid detection and tracking of multiple drones across diverse communication channels within its coverage area. The solution is equipped to detect, identify, locate, track, and neutralize hostile UAS, functioning effectively during day or night, in urban or rural environments, and under various weather conditions. It also offers flexibility with stationary and mobile configurations, including vehicle-mounted systems, alongside advanced C4I (Command and Control) features for comprehensive mission management.

Oren Sabag, General Manager of Elbit Systems ISTAR and EW, stated: "This contract, coming amid the rising threat of unmanned aerial systems, follows a series of contracts awarded to us in the CUAS field. We are proud that another NATO member country has chosen our solution, further demonstrating the robustness and effectiveness of our system, built on our advanced capabilities in EW, SIGINT, radar, and EO technologies."
