ET Solar Energy has announced that it has entered into the UK market and has started to construct an 8.4 MWp ground mounted solar power plant.

The 8.4 MWp solar project is close to the village of Bridgewater in Somerset, about 40 miles southwest of Bristol. ET Solar has acquired the project rights from a local developer. ET Solar also acts as the full EPC service provider for this project.

The project is under construction now and is expected to be grid-connected before the end of March. Therefore, it will be accredited under 1.6 ROCs.

Mr. Dennis She, President and CEO of ET Solar, comments: "This UK market entry represents a significant achievement for our system business. With our EPC execution and financing capabilities, we are well positioned to further grow our business in this new market."

In line with ET Solar's UK target of 80 MWp for 2014, ET Solar is in the process of acquiring another 8.4 MWp project which would start in the middle of March.

ET Solar will be present at the Ecobuild show in London this week. Guests are welcome to visit its booth: S2236.
