China is dedicated to the peaceful use of outer space, as affirmed by the Ministry of National Defense. The announcement emphasized the integral role of the country's Aerospace Force.

Wu Qian, the spokesperson for the ministry, described space as humanity's collective asset, underscoring that space security is vital for national and societal advancement.

"Building the Aerospace Force is of great significance to strengthen the capacity to safely enter, exit and openly use space, enhancing crisis management and the efficacy of comprehensive governance in space and promoting the peaceful utilization of space," he stated.

"China's space policy is clear," Wu Qian reiterated. "We are committed to the peaceful utilization of space."

China is eager to collaborate with other nations who share this commitment, aiming to bolster exchanges, deepen cooperation, and foster sustained peace and shared security in space, he added.
