China's Shenzhou 20 astronauts aboard the Tiangong space station will conduct their third spacewalk in the coming days, according to the China Manned Space Agency on Aug 14.

The three person crew is led by Senior Colonel Chen Dong, with Colonel Chen Zhongrui and Colonel Wang Jie. They have lived and worked aboard Tiangong for more than three months, arriving on April 25 after launch and docking during the Shenzhou 20 mission.

Since arrival, the team has completed inspections and maintenance on station instruments, installed intravehicular hardware, monitored internal environmental conditions, and unpacked and tested new extravehicular spacesuits. The astronauts have also advanced a range of scientific and technology investigations during the expedition.

CMSE reports the crew remains in good condition and Tiangong operations are stable as preparations proceed for the next extravehicular activity.

Shenzhou 20 is China's 15th crewed spaceflight and the ninth resident expedition to Tiangong, currently the only operational space station managed by a single nation. The Shenzhou 19 crew conducted three spacewalks during their six month mission.
