  Beijing (XNA) Aug 31, 2017 China's Kuaizhou-11 solid-fuelled carrier rocket will send six satellites into space in its first mission, according to the rocket's developer and producer China Aerospace Science and Industry Corp (CASIC). An industry team led by Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman has successfully demonstrated their Low Cost Terminal with an orbiting communications satellite.
The LCT accessed an Advanced Extremely High Frequency joint military satellite already in orbit, the companies announced on Thursday.
AEHF is a network of six satellites used for highly secure worldwide communications.

Israel announced this weekend it is acquiring 17 additional F-35 Lightning II multi-role fighters from Lockheed Martin, which will bring the Israeli Air Force fleet of the jets to 50.
