LinCsat Targets Canadians With Cheaper Two-Way Satellite Internet

two-way high-speed internet via satellite is opening up the world to isolated Canadian towns

LinCsat Communications Inc., today announced a more competitive pricing strategy for its LinCsat service and system in order to drive consumer and small business acceptance and activations. The Company also announced it will be introducing leasing programs aimed at increasing it's penetration of the residential, business, and government markets.

Monthly service fees have been reduced to $59.95 per month for the first three months of LinCsat's residential 'PowerON' service, then continuing as low as $89.95 per month, based on a term commitment. LinCsat's business class 'Power1' service will start at $79.95 per month for the first three months, then continuing as low as $109.95 per month, based on a term commitment.

Also effective immediately, LinCsat's system prices are reduced from approximately $1299.00 to consumers and small businesses, and now start at a suggested retail price of $899.00.

"We believe these new prices will allow us to more effectively penetrate and compete in the residential and small business broadband markets," said David Lewis, President and COO of LinCsat.

"Our new prices and member services provide an unparalleled value proposition in the high speed market we are targeting. We listened to our retail partners and customers, and responded with new prices accordingly."

LinCsat uses a proven reliable technology, is available everywhere, increases access to all Canadians, and has numerous economic and service benefits for broadband users over DSL and Cable modem services.
