Globecomm To Build Set Of EarthStations For $5.6 Million

Globecomm Systems Inc. a supplier of end-to-end satellite-based communications solutions announced has been awarded three contracts to provide satellite earth station infrastructure development and a contract to provide satellite support services through its wholly owned subsidiary NetSat Express, Inc., with an aggregate value of approximately $5.6 million.

Commenting on the contracts, David Hershberg, Chairman and CEO of Globecomm Systems said, "The satellite support services contract reflects the strong service offerings of Globecomm Systems and NetSat Express. It further demonstrates our capacity to meet the demands and needs of our clientele. The additional three contracts point to our ability to supply high quality satellite infrastructure and services."

Globecomm Systems Inc. is an end-to-end communications solutions provider. The Company's core business provides end-to-end value-added satellite-based communications solutions. This business supplies ground segment systems and networks for satellite-based communications including hardware and software to support a wide range of satellite systems.

It's wholly owned subsidiary, NetSat Express provides end-to-end satellite-based Internet solutions including network connectivity, broadband connectivity to end users, Internet connectivity, Intranet extension, media distribution and other network services on a global basis.
