Globecomm Signs 1 Year Contract Extension with Iraqi Telecom And Post Company

Globecomm Systems announced Monday that it has a one-year contract extension with the Iraqi Telecom & Post Company.

Globecomm will provide International Voice Services to the ITPC for phone calls originated in Iraq to other parts of the world and for calls originated outside of Iraq through Globecomm's partners into the ITPC network.

Globecomm Network Services Corporation (GNSC) is the primary service provider for the ITPC, has been carrying their international voice traffic for the past eighteen months and the two companies are working closely to expand the ITPC network.

David Hershberg, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Globecomm Systems, said, "GNSC continues to grow its international voice business by leveraging strong global relationships. The GNSC team is working closely with the ITPC to provide voice services in and out of Iraq. "We look forward to assisting the ITPC as they move forward with their network expansion plans in the future. GNSC continues to deliver carrier class service offerings resulting in a more predictable recurring revenue stream."
