DigitalGlobe, provider of the world's highest-resolution imagery and geospatial information products, today announced the addition of Geoimage Pty Ltd of Brisbane, Australia to its network of distribution partners. Under terms of the agreement, Geoimage will resell DigitalGlobe's high-resolution satellite imagery throughout Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the islands of the South West Pacific. Geoimage joins Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM), a long-standing DigitalGlobe partner, in servicing the geospatial needs of the region.

"Over the past decade the market for geospatial imagery in our region has grown exponentially. "We chose to partner with DigitalGlobe as it is a leader in the global commercial Earth imagery and geospatial information market. With the launch of the WorldView constellation, we will be able to respond to our clients needs for an expanded source of geospatial information products and supply them with the data that they need to conduct business and maintain their competitive advantage in their markets."
